Welcome to Kočevsko!
Kočevsko is one of the most forested and unspoiled regions in Europe. A wilderness dominated by forest, silence, and a strong sense of space. Kočevsko’s natural environment offers exceptional conditions for trail running, hiking, and other outdoor activities. The forest is home to brown bears, lynx, and wolves, but encounters with them are extremely rare. The animals avoid people, making the experience truly wild, yet safe.
The competitive program includes trail runs of 5, 10, 15, 30, and 60 km, as well as a vertical climb to Fridrihštajn Castle. The festival is organized by an experienced team behind the events Julian Alps Trail Run by UTMB, Soča Outdoor Festival, Archipelago Trail Run, and UTVV Slovenia.
After the races, the action moves to Lake Kočevje, where there will be time to relax, swim, paddleboard, socialize, enjoy local food, and attend an evening concert.

Each race in our series paints a unique picture, from the majestic peaks of the Pieniny, Julian Alps, and Dolomite mountains to the sun-drenched trails in the Balkan, welcoming runners to immerse themselves in the excitement of discovery and connection.
