Kočevsko Outdoor Festival is part of Salomon Trail Running League
The Kočevsko Outdoor Festival takes place in the most forested part of Slovenia. These vast forests are home to numerous animal and plant species and are especially known for their wilderness and stunning shades of green.
You will be able to enjoy the solitude of wild trails, as this is one of the most sparsely populated regions in Slovenia. A special highlight of the area are the UNESCO-protected primeval forests. The 30 km and 60 km courses run right along the edge of the Rajhenav primeval forest. Another distinctive feature are the abandoned Gottschee (Kočevar) villages, which add a unique character to the longest 60 km course.
After the run, you can refresh yourself in Lake Kočevje, also known as Lake Rudnik. It is one of the cleanest lakes in Slovenia and a popular excursion spot. Best of all, the lake is located right next to the main event venue.

- 60 km I FEEL SLOVENIA Bear Trail

Registration
- All GTNS SLO/CRO/HUN races are open to everyone.
- Everyone has the possibility to get a bib or participate in all of the races through the website of the event.
- It is each individual athlete’s responsibility to respect the rules and regulations of each race.
Rules & Prizes
Prizes for each race (best female and male):
– 1st place: €100
– 2nd place: €60
– 3rd place: €40
For the overall league standings, the best three results count.
Prizes for the overall league winner (female and male):
– 1st place: €500
– 2nd place: €300
– 3rd place: €100
The female and male winners of the Salomon Trail Running League receive a “Golden Ticket” to compete in the Golden Trail World Series Final 2026.
Points are awarded as shown in the image below.
In case of a tie, the following criteria apply:
Higher number of wins
Lower total sum of finishing positions
Category
- There is only one category per gender: overall male and overall female.
Prizes
Ticket to the GTS Grand Final
The female and male winners of the Salomon Trail Running League receive a “Golden Ticket” to compete in the Golden Trail World Series Final 2026.
The ticket includes: race entry fee + accommodation + travel (up to a maximum amount of €600 for travel within Europe and €800 for travel from other continents).
