May 30, 2026 at 10:40 | Kočevje, Slovenia

“The forest teaches you to listen. Walk or run with me along soft paths, where there is space for first steps and curious glances. If you enter calmly, the Kočevje forests will welcome you without fear.” — Kočevje Bambi

The 5 km SAVA Bambi Trail is an easy, circular trail route around Kočevje Lake, leading through the bright forests of the Kočevje region. It is intended for beginners, families, children, and hikers who want to experience nature without rushing.

The route runs across meadows and forest paths, has little elevation gain, and includes no technically demanding sections. There is no time limit, making it suitable for a relaxed hike or a run at your own pace.

Aid stations

We are trying to reduce negative effects of the festival on the environment, therefore cups for one-time use will not be available at the water stations and feed zones. We ask runners to bring their own cup, bottle or a camel bag to use it at water stations and fit zones for water and energy drinks.

There will be one (1) aid station at our 5 km race.
