The bus departs from MTB Trail center Ko\u010devje at 6:30a. m., where participants may leave their cars\u2014as the finish is located there as well. The bus will then take you to the start in Ko\u010devska Reka.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the morning, participants can drop off luggage they won\u2019t need during the day (e.g., tent, sleeping bag, mat, clothing for day two). We will transport the luggage directly to <\/span><b>Luk\u010deva doma\u010dija<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, where you\u2019ll spend the night.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The hike begins at Re\u0161ko jezero, one of the most important natural gems of the route and home to the white-tailed eagle\u2014one of the rarest and most majestic birds in Slovenia. After the start, the trail quickly sinks into the forest, where the green canopy, soft forest floor, and a sense of walking through land untouched by time surround you. Any luggage you will not need during the day can be handed over to us\u2014we will transport it directly to the finish at MTB Trail center Ko\u010devje.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">From the homestead, the route ascends to the ridges overlooking one of the most spectacular landscapes in southern Slovenia the Kolpa River canyon. Along the way, you\u2019ll also see <\/span><b>Kostel Castle<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, one of the largest fortifications in the country, standing on a steep rocky ledge and guarding the Kolpa valley for centuries. Its mighty defensive tower and dramatic position still evoke a sense of medieval strength and timelessness. The views stretch across green valleys and steep slopes descending toward the border.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The trail then leads through varied forests toward the finish at
