The Kočevsko Outdoor Festival is considered the wildest running event in the country, taking you to the the heart of the mysterious Kočevsko forest. You can look forward to beautiful forest trails, a rich festival program, and a variety of family-friendly activities!

Kočevsko is one of Slovenia’s most remote areas, offering stunning running trails through forests, meadows, and breathtaking natural landscapes, while also being home to wildlife. At Kočevje Outdoor Festival, you’ll spend over 90% of your time on these amazing trails!
2) Amazing festival atmosphere:
This event is a true festival experience – in addition to the running program, you’ll be thrilled by the variety of accompanying activities. Enjoy different sports, concerts by Lake Kočevje, craft beer, burgers, and other culinary delights!
3) Plenty of activities for kids:
Each year, we organise a rich weekend-long animation program for children. They can listen to engaging talks about the forest and wildlife, take part in a kids’ run, swim in the lake, or join a guided tour to track wildlife footprints.
